Numerous factors might impair our capacity to experience our best selves; we may be navigating a lifetime of challenging or bad circumstances, poisonous or unsatisfying relationships, or abrupt and stressful life transitions. Likewise, we may have no understanding why we feel the way we do; all we know is that we are angry, depressed, fatigued, fed up, or anxious, or that we just feel numb to life’s meaning and purpose.
